The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Cross Country teams traveled to Rio Grande, Ohio this past weekend to compete in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Championship race.  The Cumberland men competed in the 8K event while the women's team competed in the 5K event.  Both the men and women made phenomenal efforts to beat the team of Shawnee State, but each of the Patriots' teams took the runner-up finish. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Cross Country Teams traveled to neighboring Berea, Kentucky this weekend to compete in the Southeastern Cross Country Classic. The Cumberland men competed in the 8K event while the women's team competed in the 5K event. Both the men and women had excellent racing conditions, and much support from nearby family and friends. The Patriot men took the victory at the event and the ladies captured the runner-up finish out of 10 teams. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Cross Country Teams traveled to Wilmington, Ohio this past week to compete in the Wilmington Invitational on Friday, October 12, 2012 during their Fall Break.  The Cumberland men competed in the 8K event while the women's team competed in the 5K event.  Both the men and women's teams had several personal records and had some outstanding finishes. The men's team finished 3rd out of 34 schools while the women's team finished 6th out of 33 teams.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Cross Country team is having a stellar year thus far.  With great showings at every event, the Patriots are showing why they should always be mentioned in the NAIA National Championship picture.  As the latest NAIA Coaches Poll was released on Wednesday, it seems that the coaches think the same. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Cross Country Teams traveled to Louisville, Kentucky this past weekend to compete in the Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic.  The Patriot men competed in the 8k event while the women's team competed in the 5k event.  The men's team had runners in two separate races while the women's team only competed in one due to the amount of runners from the meet being so large.  The men's blue team finished 21^st out of 46 schools and the women's blue team finished 29^th out of 43 teams. The men's silver team placed 35^th out of 38 teams.
