The University of the Cumberlands (UC) softball Patriots finished the week with a 2-4 record after meeting up with the Patriots of Saint Catherine for two double headers on Monday and Tuesday early in the week.  The UC Patriots finished up the week on Saturday to host UVA-Wise.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Softball Patriots has hit a rough patch in the road this season as last week they had one of their toughest stretches of games on their schedule.  Due to Mother Nature, many games have had to be rescheduled so the Patriots had to face 6 games in 3 days against tough competition.  

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriot softball team entered a full week of play after a successful Spring Break spent in Myrtle Beach, S.C.  UC earned 4 wins during the break, but were unable to come away with a win in their 5 games this week, dropping 4 games in the Mid-South Conference (MSC).  

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) softball team took to the diamond for the 2^nd time this week as they searched for their first conference victory of the season against Mid-South Conference (MSC) foe University of Pikeville (UPike).  

After almost the entire week off due to weather, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriot softball team traveled to Cumberland University on Sunday for a double header before hitting the road for Campbellsville University on Monday.  The Patriot bats never could get started in either series as they dropped all four games, putting them in a 0-4 hole to start in Mid-South Conference (MSC) play.
