On Friday April 12th, University of the Cumberlands (UC) baseball team beat Mid-South Conference (MSC) foe Saint Catharine College in game one of the series 9-0.  With the win, Head Coach Brad Shelton earned his 600th win during his illustrious coaching career.

With their last Mid-South Conference (MSC) series of the season looming, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) baseball team hosted Virginia Intermont College on Monday, April 8^th and Kentucky State University on Tuesday, April 9^th in preparation for the weekend.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) baseball team was in a must win situation over the weekend when they took on Mid-South Conference (MSC) foe University of Pikeville.  After getting wins in the first two games of the series, UC starting pitcher Jonathan Paquet (Quebec, Canada) took to the mound in game three and had his best outing of the season earning him MSC Pitcher of the Week.

Going into the week the University of the Cumberlands (UC) baseball team was looking to make a statement and move up in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) standings. After splitting a pair of games with Asbury University on Tuesday, April 2^nd, UC took care of business against MSC foe University of Pikeville over the weekend picking up their first conference sweep in over four years.  With the wins the Patriots improved to 20-15 (8-10 MSC) and moved up from eighth to sixth in the standings.

UC Baseball Loses Series to Shawnee State The University of the Cumberlands (UC) baseball team traveled to Portsmouth, Ohio over the weekend to take on Mid-South Conference (MSC) foe Shawnee State University for a three game series.  Each game came down to the last inning, but the Patriots were able to only pick up one win.
