The University of the Cumberlands (UC) has always taken pride in its athletic programs in their ability to produce on the field as well as in the classroom. As the season has come to an end, the NAIA has released its list of 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Thirteen men and 28 women's swimming and diving student-athletes earned this honor overall.  This year, the Patriots swim team had four Daktronics-NAIA scholar athletes.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Swim teams is in their final stages of preparation as they head to Oklahoma City, OK for the NAIA Swimming National Championships.  With over 20 swimmers qualified for the event, the Patriots also carry a high ranking into the meet as they look to come home with an NAIA National Championship.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's Swim teams traveled to Columbia, KY to participate in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Invitational hosted by Lindsey Wilson College on February 8^th & 9^th.  After a great showing from the Patriots, both the teams finished in first place with the women scoring 933.5 points while the men scored 746 points during the meet.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Swim program has had a stellar 2012-2013 season thus far as they prepare themselves for the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Invite in just under two weeks.  As they Patriot ladies held the #1 ranking in the NAIA for a chunk of the season, one Patriot in particular had a stellar month and for her efforts was recognized by the NAIA. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's Swimming teams are well into their 2012-2013 season as many Patriot swimmers have made cuts for the NAIA National Championships.  On Tuesday, the NAIA released its latest edition of the NAIA Top 5 Coaches Polls and both the men and women continue to stay ranked in the polls.
