On Saturday, February 4, 2012, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriots swim team traveled to Lexington, KY to take on Transylvania University. Both teams prevailed as they swam past the Pioneers, with the men winning 129-119, and the women 115-104.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's Swimming team has done well thus far in competitions in the 2011-2012 season.  On Wednesday, UC once again showed they are a team that deserves national recognition as they placed once again in the NAIA Coaches Poll rankings.

On Saturday, January 28th, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's swim team hosted Asbury College at the Dinah Taylor Aquatic Center.  The women's team came out on top and beat the Asbury Eagles (108-95) while the men's team unfortunately came up short by a score of (73-127).

Swimming - Sun, Jan. 22, 2012

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Swim team hosted Centre College in Williamsburg on Friday, January 20th.  The Patriots then turned around and hit the road on Saturday, January 21stto take on Western Kentucky University.  A long weekend of meets for the Patriots unfortunately ended with two losses for UC.  Both teams gave a valiant effort, but fell to the Colonels and Hilltoppers. The women's team lost to Centre 80-121 and to WKU 69-167.  The men's team was upset by Centre 96-109 and fell to WKU 79-173.  Though competition was tough, there were several Patriots that came out on top.

Swimming - Sun, Jan. 15, 2012

On Friday January 13th, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men and Women's swim and dive teams participated in a dual with Lindsey Wilson College and Campbellsville University. Both teams won in dominating fashion in Columbia, KY on Friday night.  The women's team won over both Lindsey Wilson (64-30) and Campbellsville (68-19) while the men's team defeated Lindsey Wilson (120-63).
