University of the Cumberlands (UC) head baseball coach Brad Shelton would like to announce the signing of a pair of teammates from Erie Community College in New York. Corner infielder Emilio Arteta (Miami, Florida) and left handed pitcher Alex Dannett (Ontario, Canada) have signed with the Patriots for the 2012 season.

John Doolittle is the latest signee for the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Baseball team.

John is a junior catcher from Newnan, Georgia. Originally signed by Florida State University out of high school, injuries have hampered his career to this point. Now healthy, he hopes to contribute to the Patriots success in 2012.
