The Women's College Wrestling Association (WCWA) has released their votes for National Champions and top ten individual women in the nation. The University of the Cumberlands (UC) held a solid fourth place ranking and hope to move up in the polls. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Wrestling Team competed at Oklahoma City University on Sunday for their season opener.  Unfortunately, UC finished the day with a record of 1-5, where they competed against Simon Fraser University, King College, Wayland Baptist University and the number one ranked team in the nation Oklahoma City University.  The Patriots fought hard during the day, but unfortunately were just unable to come away with more victories.  

University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's wrestling team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio to compete in the 2011 Asics Women Freestyle Championships. Some of the top contenders for the entire sport competed at this tournament in both the men and women's Olympic style of wrestling.

This past weekend the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Wrestling team traveled to Cedar Falls, Iowa to compete in the 2011 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals.

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Wrestling team hosted the Cumberlands Duals on Saturday, December 04, 2010. Teams participating included King College, Missouri Valley College, Missouri Baptist University, Oklahoma City University, and host UC. UC had two teams compete in the event with the first team finishing 3^rd overall while the second team finished 5^th. Oklahoma City won the UC Duals with King College finishing in second.
