For the fourth consecutive year, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriot Volleyball Team has decided to take on a project to spread the love of Jesus Christ all across the world during the Christmas season.

Since 2008, the volleyball team has sent about 130 boxes around the world and is looking forward to adding to that number this year by working with Operation Christmas Child, which is run through Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Volleyball team is having one of its most successful seasons to date.  This past week the Patriot ladies had a tough slate of games, but finished strong with a 2-1 record.  The Patriots did fall to Mid-South Conference (MSC) foe Georgetown College on Monday, but came back with a big MSC win over Campbellsville on Wednesday and Virginia Intermont on Thursday.  

The University of the Cumberlands(UC)volleyball team went into the week looking to knock off the perennial powerhouse in the Mid-South Conference(MSC)this year in Lindsey Wilson before hitting the road for a doubleheader on Saturday.  The Patriots were unable to derail the Blue Raiders, but did pick up two wins on Saturday as they took down Notre Dame College and Central State University. 

This past week, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriot Volleyball team started a tough week of play out with a loss to Trevecca Nazarene University on Tuesday, but finished the week out strong with two big wins over West Virginia Institute of Technology and University of Virginia at Wise, a big conference win.  

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Volleyball team put up a tough fight this week, but unfortunately the Patriots had disappointing outcomes in both matches.
