Perfection is what every team strives for each season, yet few rarely ever achieve it.  Although the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's basketball team isn't exactly perfect this season, with an overall record of 21-1 and 11-0 in conference play, the Patriot ladies are as close to perfection as it gets.  With a close 73-65 win on the road against #25 ranked Lindsey Wilson College, the Patriots continue to pull away in the Mid-South Conference standings, as well as nationally as they are currently at #6 in the NAIA. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Basketball team has continued to impress the nation all throughout the season.  Head Coach Melissa Irvin and the Patriots did their job this week and improved their nearly perfect season with two solid wins on the road against the University of Pikeville and UVA-Wise.  The Patriot ladies are the powerful leaders in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) with an impressive 10-0 conference record now and an amazing 20-1 overall record, ranking them #6 in the NAIA. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Basketball team continues to impress not only locally, but also nation-wide.  Since the previousNAIArankings, the Patriots have captured two additional wins to contribute to their nearly perfect 18-1 record, remaining undefeated in the Mid-South Conference having gone 8-0 so far. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's basketball team continued to prove to the nation why they are a NAIA Championship contender as they continued their dominant play in the Mid-South Conference (MSC) with wins against St. Catharine College and Campbellsville University.  The Patriot ladies, who are currently ranked #8 in the NAIA polls, improved their record to 18-1 and 8-0 in conference play, remaining the only undefeated team in the Mid-South Conference. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Basketball team has their sights set on some major goals this season.  This year, the Patriots have done a fantastic job thus far in staying on track with those goals.  Carrying a 14-1 record into the week, the Patriots knew they had two challenges in front of them as #15 Georgetown College and #9 Shawnee State University both come to Williamsburg for Mid-South Conference (MSC) action.
