




The University of the Cumberlands Women's Soccer team was looking for a Cinderella finish in their Mid-South Conference (MSC) semi-final game against NAIA #1 Lindsey Wilson College on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the slipper just didn't fit the Patriots story as they fell to the Blue Raiders 7-0, ending their 2011-2012 season.

The Mid-South Conference (MSC) has announced the women's soccer All Conference athletic honors and academic awards for the 2011 season.
The All-Conference soccer teams are nominated and voted on by the coaches of the MSC, and the coaches may not vote for their own players. All-Conference Academic awards are given to those athletes who are sophomore or higher in class and hold a 3.25 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale.
University of the Cumberlands Patriot junior Danna Stringle (Ontario, Canada) was selected to the All Mid-South Conference team for her talents in the forward position. Stringle made nine goals on the season, including two in the first round of the MSC tournament helping the team advance to the semi-finals.

Finishing up their regular season conference games, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Soccer Team fell 2-5 against Georgetown College on Tuesday October 25th. The Patriots also competed against Asbury University on Saturday October 29thwhere they fell 2-3 in overtime.
