With one week before the Mid-South Tournament, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriots Softball team stepped up their game to defeat some close competition. They met up against two teams in double-header action and came out 2-2 on the week, making them 16-29 overall and 6-18 in Mid South Conference (MSC) play. The Patriots played on the road against non-conference Midway College (MC) and then hosted MSC rival Lindsey Wilson College (LWC).
