The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Wrestling team hosted the Mid-South Conference (MSC) Wrestling Tournament on January 28^th in the O. Wayne Rollins Center.  The five schools that took part in the tournament included Shorter University, Campbellsville University, Cumberland University, Lindsey Wilson College, and University of the Cumberlands. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's wrestling team has been on a hot streak as of late and looked to continue that on Friday night as they hosted Cumberland University for a Mid-South Conference (MSC) dual.  The Patriots came out early and set the tone as they defeated the Bulldogs 32-12. 

The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Wrestling Team has been on a great run thus far in the New Year and look to make improvement heading into the Mid-South Conference (MSC) tournament.  Once again, the Patriots are working hard to get better and one particular Patriots hard work earned him MSC Wrestler of the Week honors.  

The 2011-2012 University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's wrestling team continued their winning ways this weekend as they competed at the Spartan Mat Classic invitational in North Manchester, IN.  The tournament featured 9 other teams including 8 Division III teams and Indiana Tech, another NAIA program who is receiving votes in the Top 20 poll. 

The Patriot men went to the tournament this weekend competing without two of their top ranked wrestlers, Jered Medina (Las Vegas, NV) ranked #6 in the NAIA and Anthonie Linares (San Jose, CA) ranked #7 in the NAIA.  UC was still able to dominate the competition en route to their first invitational team title.  With only 9 wrestlers entered in the tournament, the Patriots blew away the competition while amassing 195.5 points.  

The latest NAIA Men's Wrestling poll was released on January 11^th for the NAIA Top 20 coaches polls of the 2011-2012 season and the University of the Cumberlands Patriots once again have moved higher into the Top 20.
