            <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Williamsburg, Ky. &amp;ndash; &lt;/strong&gt;On Friday, February 3&lt;sup&gt;rd&lt;/sup&gt;, the University of the Cumberlands (UC) football players took time out their normal schedule to visit some of the local elementary schools.&amp;nbsp; The Patriots were guests at Whitley County Primary School (WCPS) and Whitley County Intermediate School (WCIS).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

            <description>&lt;p&gt;At the beginning of each season it takes time for teams to mesh together and get in mid-season form. &amp;nbsp;The same is true for the University of the Cumberlands (UC) baseball team as they look to put the pieces together to make a run at a Mid-South Conference and NAIA World Series Title.&amp;nbsp; On Friday, February 17&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt;, the Patriots welcomed the Bearcats of Brescia University to Doyle Buhl Stadium in Williamsburg, KY for a four game series.&amp;nbsp; Both teams had an answer every time the other gained momentum, but it was the Patriots coming away winning 3 of the 4 games.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>

On Wednesday, February 15, 2012, the Patriots traveled to Harrogate, TN to take of the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University (LMU). Both teams gave great effort, but failed to come out on top as the men lost 0-9, and the women 3-6. On Friday, the 17&lt;sup&gt;th&lt;/sup&gt;, the Patriots traveled to Jefferson City, TN to take on Carson Newman College (CN). After hard fought matches, the Patriots still came up short to the Eagles, as the men lost 2-7, and the women more closely 4-5.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
