2008/2009: Attended Conner High School. Graduated with High Honors obtaining a 4.2 grade point average and was selected for the National Honor Society. For the baseball team he was selected Team Defensive MVP. During the summer he played for the Bluegrass Chiefs who were Freeport International Tournament Champions.

2009/2010: Attended UC and appeared in 8 games with 2 starts scoring 2 runs on the season. During the summer he played for the Bluegrass Royals in the Cincinnati Champions League.
