Chris Kraftick is entering his fourth full season as the men and women's Head Golf Coach. He Hails from Wooster, OH and now resides in London, KY with his wife, Rebecca, and his three children; Lynsey (14), Mason (9), and Emory (5).

Kraftick attended Wooster High School where he was a four-year letterman. During his high school golf career, he was recognized as an All-Conference player in 1993 and won the Team MVP in 1993. He was graduated from Wilmington College in 1998 with a degree in Elementary Education where he was named an All-Conference player his junior and senior years and received the Team Outstanding Player Award.

In 2000, Kraftick became the assistant golf professional at Crooked Creek Golf Club in London, Kentucky, before taking over as the Head Golf Pro in 2004. He qualified for the Kentucky open four times during that span. Also in 2004, Kraftick reached the professional ranks as he became a member of the PGA.

Kraftick played and excelled in golf at the collegiate level and has always had an interest in coaching. He started his coaching career as an assistant at North Laurel High School in London, KY in 2004 before taking over the head ranks in 2006-2007.

Coach Kraftick has developed both the men and women's golf programs into extremely successful teams. Over the past three seasons, the men have 18 tournament wins, 3 MSC Regular Season Titles, 3 MSC Tournament Titles, and been to 3 NAIA National Tournaments. The 2010-2011 Season ended with the Patriots 4th in the NAIA National Poll and 7th in the NAIA Tournament. The team broke school records for total tournament wins in one season (9) and team scoring average (294.6). The Patriots also had 3 NAIA All-Americans and 5 MSC All-Conference selections in 2010. Kraftick has also been named the MSC Coach of the Year each of the last 3 seasons.

The women's program has had its own share of success. In 2011, they were the Mid-South Conference Regular Season Co-Champions, the MSC Tournament Runners-Up, and finished 17th in the final NAIA poll. The women have a record of 148-111-3 over the past three years including 5 tournament wins. In 2010, Kraftick coached two NAIA National Tournament qualifiers and in 2011 was named MSC Women's Coach of the Year.

Kraftick commented, "We are very proud of the program we have built here at UC. Our players are invested and have very high expectations of themselves and their teammates. We work hard to produce not only great players but great people."
