Heather Branum is entering her second year as a Graduate Assistant Softball Coach. She hails from Heiskell, TN and now resides in Williamsburg, KY and is currently working on her Master's Degree in Education.

Branum was graduated from Anderson County High School. After graduating, she made her way to Cumberlands after being signed by Head Softball Coach Angie Dean. She played under Dean's instruction during her time as a Patriot.

Branum was graduated from Cumberlands in 2004. Since that time she has spent three years teaching at the high school level in the field of special education math. She also gained valuable coaching experience coaching softball for the past three years as both an assistant and then the head coach.

Assistant Coach Branum commented, "I'm excited to be part of the UC Softball program again. I think UC is a great place to grow academically and spiritually. I hope to bring my knowledge of the game to the players and help them reach their potential."
