Larone Madison is entering his 1^st year as a graduate assistant coach with the Patriots.  Larone will be a familiar face for the UC wrestling team as he completed his eligibility last season.  In his career Larone was named an NAIA All-American on three separate occasions, placing as high as 3^rd in his senior campaign.  Larone finished off his senior season with a team leading 35 wins, 9 of which came by fall.  He placed in all 7 tournaments he wrestled in last season while winning 5 tournament championships.  Larone was named captain during both his junior and senior seasons.  "His outstanding leadership as a Captain the past two seasons further solidified in my mind why we needed to keep Larone here, he is obviously a great wrestler, but more importantly he is a great leader and mentor for our team", said Head Coach Matt Lowers.  Madison will be completing his undergraduate degree requirements in the fall of 2012 after which he will begin working towards his Masters degree in education.
