General Responsibilities: (10 Positions Available depending on financial need)
 
• Athletic Media work/serve as primary media contact
• Statistical collection and reporting
• Athletic publications and recruiting guides
• Development of home contest programs
• Supervision of athletic photos
• Processing and responding to media inquiries
• Maintenance of athletics web page
• Daily administrative aspects of the sports infomation department
• Supervision of student work-study
• Day-of-game coverage/event management
• Weekly meetings with assigned sport coaches
• Other responsibilities as assigned or requested
 
Qualifications or Preferred Experience:
 
• Writing and reporting experience
• Communication skills
• Experience with desktop publishing software
• Experience with statistical reporting software
• Management skills
• Computer proficiency
 
Position Duration:
 
• 10 Month employment - August 15, 2011 - May 15, 2012
• Employment renewal negotiable
• Summer employment and administrative work negotiable
 
Educational Degree:
 
• Work toward a Master's Degree
• May work towards completion of teacher certification or pursue other course work as desired
• May work towards completion of undergraduate degree requirements
