Liz Stephens (Tockington, Bristol UK) is a member of the Patriots' Women's Golf Team.

Last week, the women's golf team showed a lot of determination and perseverance to come from behind, a 9 stroke deficit, to take a 3 stroke victory over Lindsey Wilson College in the Don Bishop Invitational held at Campbellsville Country Club. 

Stephens, who is a sophomore at UC, finished the tournament in 2^nd place shooting an 82 on day one, but improving greatly on day two to shoot a 74, totaling a 156 (+12) over the two day tournament.  This performance helped her team come from 9 shots back after the first round to securing a 1^st place finish over Lindsey Wilson College by 3 strokes.  Stephens was just one of the five UC Patriots to finish the tournament in the top 10. 

The Patriots will be back in action on October 3^rd-4^th at the NAIA Preview in Greenville, TN at Link Hill CC.  Later in that week, the Patriots will compete at the MSC Fall Tournament at Portsmouth Elks in Portsmouth, OH.
