The University of the Cumberlands Women?s Golf team traveled to Prestonsburg, KY to compete in the Mid-South Conference Tournament at Stone Crest Golf Course last week. The ladies finished 4th in the tournament with a combined score of 843.

Leading the ladies was freshman Katie Akins (Corbin, KY) finishing 14th with a two day score of 185. Finishing 16th with a combined two day score of 203 was junior Shannon Schottelkott (Greenfield, OH); freshman Margaret Warren (Claypool, IN) finished 17th with a score of 204; and junior Emily Sturgill (Pineville, KY) finished with a score of 251.

The ladies prepare to compete in the NAIA Region XI Tournament on April 18-20, 2007.
