The University of the Cumberlands Women’s Golf team finished their fall season on Tuesday at the Lindsey Wilson Fall Invitational. The ladies placed 8th in the tournament with a combined score of 874.

Freshman Margaret Warren (Claypool, IN) led the ladies placing 30th with a final score of 198. Placing 31st was freshman Katie Akins (Corbin, KY) with a score of 200. Junior Shannon Schottelkott (Greenfield, OH) placed 34th with a score of 201, and Emily Sturgill (Pineville, KY) placed 39th with a score of 266.

The fall season was a rough one for the ladies, but they are very hopeful and confident for the spring season.
