Moline, Ill.-  Junior Ben Kendrick (JR/Danville, KY) was named to the South PING Golf Coaches Association of America All-Region Team and PING First Team All-American, for the first time in his career. The NAIA PING All-Region honorees were announced by the GCAA as players were honored across the North, South, Central and West Regions. 

Kendrick is coming off a runner-up finish at the NAIA Men's Golf Championships at TPC Deere Run. Kendrick carded a four round total of 290 (+6), finishing just three strokes back from first.  In the Mid-South Conference Championships Kendrick won the individual title posting a three round total of 210 (-6). Along with the medalist honors in the MSC Championships he was named MSC Golfer of the Year for the second time and was named to the MSC First Team All Conference.

Kendrick along with the MSC Championship win had earned medalist honors in three other tournaments this season.  His average score this season was 71.96, the best scoring average in school history.
