The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Soccer program is pleased to announce the signing of Lindsey Ketchum for the 2014-2015 season.

Lindsey is the daughter of Jim and Stacy Ketchum and hails from Shelbyville, KY.  She will graduate from Martha Layne Collins High School in May where she played forward for the varsity soccer team.

Lindsey had this to say about her upcoming career at UC, "I am very excited about being a student at Cumberlands and a member of the Patriot Ladies soccer team.  I look forward to contributing to the team and helping the program in any way possible."

"We are very excited to have Lindsey as a member of our school and program," said Head Coach Joe Townsend. "She will be a great asset for us both on and off the field and I know she will help us move the program in the right direction.  Lindsey is exactly the kind of student athlete we are looking for at UC and we look forward to having her begin her experience with us.  She is a player with the ability and desire to help us move in the direction we want to go as a program.  Lindsey is a team player who will fit in really well with the rest of the team and has a great and supportive family that we are happy to welcome into our school and program."
