Grant Burkhalter (Citrus Heights, CA) started things off for the Patriots at 125 lbs.  He would go point for point with CU's #3 Cody Steiner in an intense match, but would fall in a 9-7 decision giving Campbellsville the 3-0 lead.  UC's #14 Andrew Tillman (Abbeville, SC) was next on the mat competing at 133 lbs.  He would wrestle against #14 Tyler Alsip.  Tillman was ultimately defeated by a 20-3 decision, increasing CU's lead to 8-0.

Calob Perkins (Miamisburg, OH) would attempt to get things going for the Patriots at 141 lbs. as he faced off against #2 Brandon Westerman.  Perkins gave great effort but was defeated in an 11-1 decision, extending CU's lead to 13-0.  Steven Melara (Pomona, CA) would try to get the Patriots on the board, but would get pinned in the second period after 1:09, continuing CU's streak and the 18-0 lead.  Isaac King (Waycross, GA) would wrestle against #6 Shawn Mcghee at 157 lbs.  The Tigers would continue their vengeance as King was defeated 16-0, extending the CU lead to 23-0.

Next on the mat, Steven Traylor (Kileen, TX) would battle against CU's #11 Trey Rhodes at 165 lbs.  Traylor was unable to rally in a win and was defeated 17-0, giving Campbellsville the 28-0 lead.  Brocky Leidecker (Orient, OH) strived to get the Patriots on the board but would ultimately be defeated by Kyle Sweedman by pinfall with 34.2 seconds to go in the second period continuing CU's lead by a score of 34-0.  Brandon Rogers (Springfield, OH) saw action against CU's Miguel Santis in the 184 lb. match.  This would be the closest match of the evening and would finally put UC on the board. Rogers won by a 9-2 decision, but CU would still keep the steady lead at 34-3.

Fred Byars (College Park, GA) would win his match at 197 lbs. by forfeit, but CU still led by 34-9.  Cumberlands' #4 Courtney Freeman (Riverdale, GA) would be the last Patriot on the mat as he wrestled at 285 lbs.  His opponent would be Justin McDaniel.  Freeman would step up to the plate in the match as he defeated McDaniel by a 20-4 decision.
