The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriot Volleyball team played their lone match of the week on Tuesday as they traveled to take on Mid-South Conference (MSC) opposition Campbellsville University.
UC struggled throughout much of the night as they were unable to string together a solid offensive run and fell to the Tigers in three straight sets by scores of 17-25, 18-25, 11-25. The Patriots' record now sits at 3-1 overall and 0-1 in MSC play.
Sophomore Morgan Schlatter (Springboro, OH) played aggressive offensively and defensively with 4 kills on the night along with 17 defensive digs. Sophomore Samantha Stuckwisch (Seymour, IN) was the assist leader on the night for UC with 10.
The Patriots will be back in action Tuesday, September 10th as they host Lindsey Wilson College for another MSC matchup. First serve is set for 7:00 pm.
