The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Bowling program is only a month shy of beginning its first season and Head Coach Kevin Reigle is signing some last bowler to complete his roster for the 2013-2014 season. Reigle and the Patriots are pleased to announce their most recent signee, Jazmine Traylor.
Traylor hails from Birmingham, Alabama where she was graduated from Hoover High School. During her high school career, Jazmine qualified for Junior Gold in 2013, bowled in the SSJBA, was 1st-Team All State and 1st-Team All City as well as averaged a score of 191 this past season.
Jazmine commented on her recent signing with UC, "I'm so excited to be a part of the University of the Cumberlands Women's Bowling Program. I can't wait for the season to start."
Coach Kevin Reigle had this to say about Jazmine's signing with UC, "Jazmine is a great fit for our program. She is going to help us be competitive in the Mid-South Conference. It's great to have another left hander in our starting lineup. She's bowled in a lot of junior tournaments over the years and has a lot of experience that she will be bringing to our new program."
The Patriot Bowling Team will open the 2013-2014 season on September 28-29, 2013 as they travel to Campbellsville, KY to compete in the Green River Classic. For more information on Patriot bowling as well as other Patriot athletics, please visit http://www.cumberlandspatriots.com.
