The University of the Cumberlands (UC) football team is working hard in the preseason as they get set to compete for another Mid-South Conference (MSC) Championship and potential birth in the NAIA National Championship Series.  On August 18th, the University of the Cumberlands football team will be hosting its annual Media Day for all the fans throughout the area at the James H. Taylor, II Stadium.  Everyone is welcome as it will be a chance to meet and greet the 2013 Patriots.

The event will get started at 6:00 pm.  If you are unable to attend, you will be able to watch the inaugural Patriot Football Kickoff Show on our website at www.cumberlandspatriots.com.

UC looks to start the 2013 MSC East schedule with a bang as they will take on Union College in the "Battle for the Brass Lantern" game.  Last season, the Patriots came away with the trophy with the largest margin of victory ever in the series history in a 48-14 win.  This year's game is scheduled to kickoff at noon on August 31st, 2013 at James H. Taylor, II Stadium.  The game will be televised locally on WYMT and broadcasted on 104.3 WEZJ radio.  If you are not able to attend, you can always watch Patriot football home games on www.cumberlandspatriots.com
