The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Bowling program is gearing up for its first season and Head Coach Kevin Reigle has been working hard on the recruiting trail for the 2013-2014 season to get as many players as possible before the beginning of the school year.  Reigle and the Patriots are pleased to announce their most recent signee, Autumn Cooney.

Cooney hails from Lancaster, OH where she was graduated from Lancaster High School. During her high school career, Autumn was a four-year varsity starter, a two-time SCOC Honorable Mention, and two-time Ohio Conference Champion. In 2013, she qualified for the OHSAA State Tournament and her high school team was the Sectional Champions.

Coach Kevin Reigle had this to say about Autumn's signing with UC, "Autumn is a fantastic addition to our bowling program. She's a great bowler and is going to help us become competitive right away in the Mid-South Conference. She has a lot of experience and has bowled really well in high school. She knows what it's like to be on a winning team and her passion will help our program continue to grow."
