University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Soccer program is looking forward to a bright and successful season in the fall. Head Coach Brenton Benware, along with his coaching staff, are making preparations for the upcoming season and are pleased to announce the signing of Garrett Broxson for 2013-2014.

Garrett is the son of Greg and Lisa Broxson and hails from Louisville, KY.  He will be graduated from Eastern High School in May, where he played defensive midfielder for the Eagles.

"I am excited to play and I know I have made the right decision signing with Cumberlands. It feels like a great fit and I'm glad to be staying close to home. I can't wait to step on the field and try to produce opportunities for us to win as a team," said Broxson about signing with the Patriots.

"I'm really looking forward to Garrett joining our soccer program in the fall.  He's played at a high level of play and he's a very technical player.  I'm confident Garrett will be a big contributor to our program over the next several years," commented UC Head Men's Soccer Coach Brenton Benware on Broxson's recent signing with UC.
