The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Golf team is making as many preparations as possible for the upcoming NAIA National Tournament, in hopes of a National Championship. Coach Chris Kraftick and staff are working to improve the Patriots' chances as they already are also looking forward to next year and the addition of another stellar talent.

UC is proud to announce the signing of Latoshia Davis for the fall of 2013.  Latoshia attends Whitley County High School and hails from Williamsburg, Kentucky.  While participating in golf there, Latoshia has been a captain for two years, had multiple tournament victories, and was named a First Tee Pine Mountain Outstanding Participant Finalist.

When asked about joining the program at UC, Latoshia commented, "It is such an honor to go to college and play golf in my hometown. Golf is a passion of mine and I am excited to continue my passion with a great program at UC. I am looking forward to beginning a new chapter of my life as a Patriot."

Coach Kraftick added, "I have watched Latoshia grow up and am excited she decided to continue her career with us. She is a wonderful and hardworking young lady who fits well with the type of motivated players we are looking for at UC."
