The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Bowling Head Coach Kevin Reigle is making as many preparations as possible for the 2013-2014 season, working hard to recruit the most talented athletes around the country.  Reigle and the Patriots are pleased to announce their most recent signee, Amanda Kelly.

Kelly hails from Georgetown, KY where she will graduate from Lexington Catholic in May.  During her high school career, Kelly bowled all 4 seasons, qualifying for the KHSAA region 7 Singles Championship in 2012 and 2013, qualifying 4th in 2012 and 7th in 2013.  Kelly also posted an impressive career high game score of 267.

"I'm over the moon," Kelly said about signing with the Patriots.  "I never thought I'd have the chance to bowl in college.  I couldn't be happier to be a Patriot and have this opportunity."

"Amanda is an incredible bowler and we are so lucky to have her sign with us," Head Coach Kevin Reigle commented.  "She throws the ball so well and is going to be such a strong addition to our program.  Every time I see her bowl she keeps throwing it better.  She has the ability to get it around it and hook the lane or come up the back of the ball and point the gutter.  I think she is going to have a very strong college career here as a Patriot."
