University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Soccer Head Coach Joe Townsend, along with his coaching staff, are making preparations for the 2013-2014 season and are pleased to announce the signing of Dakota Gadd.
Dakota is the daughter of Randy and Jackie Gadd and hails from Berea, KY. She will graduate from Madison Southern High School in May, where she played midfielder and forward. Finishing her high school career with 100 goals over four years, Dakota was voted the varsity MVP as well as named to the all-district team.
"I am excited to start a new chapter in my life as a Patriot and continue my soccer career under the direction of Coach Townsend," said Gadd about joining the Patriots this upcoming season.
"Dakota is a very energetic and technical player who will add great quality to our roster," Head Coach Joe Townsend commented about signing Gadd. "We are expecting great things from Dakota and we know she can deliver. She has a stellar high school record and plays on one of the top teams in the state (Javanon Soccer Club). Dakota will not only fit in on the field, I feel she is a great addition off it too. Both academically and athletically we know Dakota will excel as a Patriot and we are really excited to have her join us after facing some stiff competition for her signature."
