The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Archery program is preparing to participate in the last regular season competition before national championships begin. They have had strong finishes in both tournaments they have competed in thus far. Head Coach Kris Strebeck hopes to only build off this as he continues to recruit to make his team even better. Strebeck and the Patriots are proud to announce the signing of Jeremiah Brown who will begin participating in the fall of 2013.
Brown is the son of Jay and Natasha Brown and hails from Crab Orchard, KY. Jeremiah will graduate in May from Rockcastle County High School. During his archery career, Jeremiah has been to nationals twice, and qualified for World in the NASP program.
When asked about joining UC, Jeremiah mentioned, "I am very excited to be apart of such a successful archery program. Since the Patriots started their archery program, I have heard nothing but great news from every place they went. I cannot wait to do what I can to contribute to this team and add to their success!"
Head Coach Kris Strebeck commented, "I am excited to see all the additions Jeremiah will make to our team. He is a national qualifier and excels in each and every competition he has been to and I'm looking forward to coaching him."
