The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Tennis program started the season with a disappointing 1-3 start, but have high hopes for a turnaround for the remainder of the spring. With a roster full of returners and a full list of new faces, the Patriots are practicing day in and day out to keep their conference dreams alive. With this dream, the NAIA Men's Tennis Top 25 Coaches Poll has UC's program receiving votes.
Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) is yet again the #1 team in the country this week receiving 6 of 12 first place votes and receiving 306 total voting points. Mid-South Conference (MSC) opposition Lindsey Wilson is sitting at #4 this week. Cumberland University jumped 2 spots from #11 to #9 in the poll. Campbellsville University jumped 1 spot to #16 and University of Pikeville also received votes in this week's poll.
The Patriots will be back in action on Friday, April 5th as they travel to Columbia, KY to take on the Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson College. Match times are set for 2:00 p.m.
