The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Soccer program is coming off a successful second season under Head Coach Brenton Benware. Benware and his coaching staff are hard on the recruiting trail for the 2013-2014 season and have signed a stellar incoming freshman class so far. Another name that can be added to the Patriot program next season is Quinn Huddle.
Quinn is the son of Chris and Stephanie Huddle and hails from Grayson, KY where he will graduate in May 2013 from East Carter High School. Huddle plays the center midfielder position. His senior year, he had a very impressive stat line with 15 goals and 12 assists. His career stats include 38 goals and 28 total assists.
Quinn commented on his signing at UC saying, "It's an honor to get the opportunity to play for a program that is consistent in winning every year. I look forward to my four years as a Patriot and hope to progress and help the team out each and every year."
Benware added, "Quinn is a great addition to our roster. He was at our Men's Soccer team camp last summer and I'm so glad he was! Our coaching staff was really impressed with his maturity and understanding of the game. He brings with him a driven desire to excel and grow as a player, and that will help him develop quickly within our program."
