The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced the Scholar All America Team Awards for Fall 2012.  The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Swimming and Diving Team has been recognized as one of the top NAIA schools to earn the prestigious honor.

The Team Scholar All American award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  The award is presented to teams achieving this standard in the fall semester and in the semester of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships (Winter/Spring).

The College Swimming Coaches Association is the oldest coaches' organization in America.  In addition to Scholar All American Awards, the CSCAA recognizes All American Swimmers and Divers at the national championships every year.

"I am very proud of our program and the success they have had in the classroom and in the pool. It is a testament to their hard work and commitment to excellence to their academics and swimming," commented Eric Skelly, UC Head Swimming Coach.
