The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Soccer program is coming off a successful second season under Head Coach Brenton Benware.  Benware, along with his coaching staff, have already been hard on the recruiting trail for the 2013-2014 season and have done well so far.  Another name that can be added to the Patriot program next season is Seth Hale.

Seth is the son of Gary and Darlene Hale and hails from Corbin, KY where he will graduate in May 2013 from South Laurel High School.  Hale plays the defender position and in 2011, he received the MVP Defensive Award in the 13th Region Tournament out of 8 high schools. That same year, he also received the defender of the year on his team and has won this same award several years since the sixth grade.

Seth commented on his signing at UC saying, "I am very excited for the opportunity to be a part of the University of the Cumberlands and the Men's Soccer team! I know without God none of this would be possible. This is what I have worked hard for since I was four years old and I will continue to do my very best."

Benware added, "It's great to get a local addition like Seth into our program.  He's a hard worker that I know will continue developing in big strides during his time at UC."
