The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Archery program has reached the midpoint of its first season in school history, and has finished strongly in each tournament competed.  Head Coach Kris Strebeck hopes to build off this as he continues to recruit to compile a sold roster for the beginning of the fall season. Coach Strebeck and the Patriots are proud to announce the signing of Bridget Coffee.

Coffee is the daughter of Jim and Nita Coffee and hails from Ashland, KY.  Bridget will complete her studies in the spring of 2013 from her homeschooling program.  Coffee first became interested in archery through the Centershot archery ministry at her church.

When asked about joining UC, Bridget stated, "I am so very blessed to be a part of the archery team at home, and am so very thankful that God opened doors that led me to such an amazing school like the University of the Cumberlands. I am looking forward to all the great things God has in store for me and all of my fellow teammates this fall."

Head Coach Kris Strebeck commented, "We are pleased to have Bridget join our program.  She will bring a lot of energy and excitement to our team."

With the addition of Coffee as well as a key core of shooters coming back to next year's team, Coach Strebeck should have the making for something special in his second season as coach of the Patriot Archery team.  The Patriots are not already looking ahead to next season as they know there is still work to be done as they will have their most critical competition yet in May as they compete in the National Outdoor Championships.
