The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Swimming program recently finished off a stellar 2012-2013 season at the NAIA National Championships with a 3rd place finish.  With numerous All-American award winners and one NAIA National Champion, the Patriots came away with high goals for next season.  The final NAIA Coaches Poll was released on Friday and the Patriots will have a target on their back for next season.

UC finished the season ranked #3 in the NAIA after their great performance at NAIA Nationals.  NAIA National Champions Oklahoma Baptist received the #1 ranking for the final poll of the year over #2 SCAD Savannah.  Olivet Nazarene finished the year #4 after being unranked while Concordia finished the year at #5 in the NAIA.

Head Coach Eric Skelly, who was named NAIA Women's Coach of the Year, commented, "I am excited that we were able to finish the season so strong.  Both teams are already preparing to improve on this year's finish.  The goal for both teams though is still to bring home an NAIA National Championship."
