The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Tennis program started the season with a disappointing 0-2 start, but has high hopes for the remainder of the spring season. With a roster full of returners and a hand full of new faces, the Patriot ladies are practicing day in and day out to keep their conference dreams alive. With this dream, the NAIA Women's Tennis Top 25 Coaches Poll has UC's program receiving votes.
Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) is yet again the #1 team in the country this week receiving all 13 first place votes and receiving 343 total voting points. Mid-South Conference (MSC) opposition Lindsey Wilson is sitting at #4 this week. Campbellsville University fell 1 spot from #12 to #13 in the poll. Cumberland University and Georgetown College also received votes in this week's poll.
The Patriot ladies will be back in action on Tuesday, February 26th as they host the Railsplitters of Lincoln Memorial University at 2:00 pm.
