The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Patriots Volleyball team hosted the St. Catharine Patriots on September 25th in a Mid-South Conference (MSC) matchup that both teams needed to gather momentum heading into the brunt of MSC play.  UC came out with determination and came away with an impressive 3 set victory defeating St. Catharine by scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-22. 

Sophomore Stacey Sebald (Cincinnati, OH) led the attack for the Patriots leading the team with 8 kills on the night.  Junior Megan Schulte (Beavercreek, OH) followed with 7 kills of her own.  Freshman Samantha Stuckwisch (Seymour, IN) had a huge match for UC as she accumulated 16 assists.  Junior Abby Dundon (Lexington, KY) led the girls in defensive digs with a total of 13 while also chipping in 9 assists of her own. 

The Patriots will travel on September 29th to Columbia, KY to take part in an MSC tri-match.  They will take on Bluefield College at 11 am and the Cavaliers of UVA-Wise at 5 pm.

The ladies will be back in action on their home court on October 5th as they host Brescia University at 6 pm.
