The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Volleyball Patriots took on the Georgetown College Tigers on Tuesday, September 18th.  The Patriot ladies played very hard, coming out with a vengeance as they looked to make a statement in the Mid-South Conference (MSC).

During the first match, junior Megan Schulte (Beavercreek, OH) had a solid block that brought the crowd to their feet.  This brought some energy to the Patriots, but they could not hold it long enough as they fell to the Tigers in straight sets 3-0 by scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-13.

Junior Cassie Kalman (Beavercreek, OH) had a total of 6 kills for the Patriots to lead the team.  Junior Abby Dundon (Lexington, KY) pitched in as well as she led the team with 11 assists.  Dundon along with Samantha Stuckwisch (Seymour, IN) were big for the Patriots on defense as they each accumulated 5 digs.

The Patriot ladies host the Saint Catherine College Patriots in an MSC matchup on September 25th.  First serve is set for 7:00pm.
