The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Volleyball program continues to build upon a solid group of ladies with a wide array of talent for this upcoming 2012-2013 year.  Head Coach Kara Clemenz and staff have been busy recruiting and have brought in some new faces that will be able to help with improving the winning streak of the Patriot Ladies.

The head coaches of the Mid-South Conference (MSC) have been polled for the 2012 Preseason Poll and the Patriot Ladies have been picked 5^th in the Mid-South Conference.  Last season, they were picked at 4^th in the West division.  The conference has now transitioned back to one large division instead of two separate East and West divisions.

Lindsey Wilson College was picked 1^st once again with nine of the 11 first place votes and a total of 99 points.  Campbellsville University earned the 2^nd place nod receiving 87 points and one 1^st place vote.  The Tigers of Georgetown College were ranked 3^rd with 86 points and the final 1^st place vote. 

The University of Rio Grande were picked 4^th with 65 points followed by UC.  Rounding out the polls were Shawnee State University (50), Cumberland University (48), St. Catharine College (44), UVA-Wise (27), Bluefield College (25), and the University of Pikeville (12).

The Patriots season will begin on August 25^th at home as they are set to host Cincinnati Christian University at 1:00 pm.  The Patriots will also host their 9^th annual Alumni scrimmage on August 18^th at 2:00 pm.
