The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Basketball program held its annual Youth Day Camp in the O. Wayne Rollins Center on the campus of the University of the Cumberlands. This year's camp was attended by 80 participants from all across the local area.

During the camp, all the campers participated in fundamental drills through the morning sessions including dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. After a break for lunch, the campers then participated in numerous 3 on 3 games, free throw shooting contests, 5 on 5 games, and other activities that were planned by this year's staff.  At the end of the week, UC Head Coach Melissa Irvin and her staff handed out numerous awards deserving of the campers during the end of camp ceremony.

Coach Irvin commented, "We have had a fantastic week with some extremely good young talent.  We are always excited to work with the young players of our community and surrounding communities.  Maybe one day we will have a future Patriot that comes from these camps."
