University of the Cumberlands Baseball Coach Brad Shelton has announced the signing of Cameron Meador.

Cameron was a member of the first graduating class at South Gibson High School in Medina, Tennessee.  During his three-year career, Meador posted a .313 batting average with 74 hits, 15 doubles, 6 home runs, and 50 RBI.  On the mound, he struck out 40 batters in 43 2/3 innings pitched, and also threw the first shutout in South Gibson's history his senior year.

Coach Shelton had this to say about the signing of Cameron Meador, "Cameron is a player that caught the eye of coach Duffie at one of the Fall Showcases that he attended.  He liked his work ethic and he believes he has the chance to develop during his time as a Patriot.  He is a good student with great character who will be a great fit on our campus."
