The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Volleyball team is looking ahead to the 2012-2013 season with high hopes and expectations.  With a large chunk of returners coming back next year, Head Coach Kara Clemenz and staff have set some very sustainable goals for the season.  While on the recruiting trail, Clemenz has come across some great talent and is pleased to announce the signing of Morgan Schlatter.

Schlatter is the daughter of David and Kim Schlatter and hails from Springboro, Ohio.  She will graduate from Dayton Christian High School in May.  While at Dayton Christian, Morgan also competed for the Kingdom Volleyball Club.

When asked about joining the program at UC, Schlatter said, "I'm excited to be going to University of the Cumberlands.  To play with the team, this fall, is a big point in my career."

Coach Clemenz commented, "I first saw Morgan play at the President's Cup Tournament in Dayton and was immediately blown away by her game. She is an explosive hitter and is smart on defense. Every time I see her play, I'm more impressed than the last."

The Patriots will open up their 2012-2013 season on August 25thas they host Cincinnati Christian University.  Start time is set for 1:00 pm.
