The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's Golf team is in final preparations to compete in the 2012 NAIA National Tournament on May 15th-18th.  While in Greenville, Tennessee at the NAIA Tournament, the Patriots are also participating in other events as well to help promote the NAIA's Champions of Character program.  

On Tuesday May 15th, the Patriot ladies will travel to the studios of WGRV, WSMG, and WIKQ for interviews.  During this time, the members of the team will speak about their careers, school, activities, and their journey to the NAIA National Championship.  Following their interviews, the Patriots will tee off in the first round of the NAIA Tournament. 

The 2012 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships are scheduled to get underway Tuesday from Link Hills Country Club in Greenville, Tenn., at 7:30 a.m. EDT. The 18th annual event is a 72-hole stroke play tournament that will be played over the course of four days, concluding with the final round on Friday.  To follow the event LIVE statistically visit www.golfstat.com
