The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Women's soccer program has been working hard in the off season to bring in talented recruits in their quest to continue a successful program and bring home that Mid-South Conference (MSC) Championship next year. The Patriots have added to the talent on defense with the recent signing of Monica Kubick.
Monica come to Cumberlands from Knoxville, TN and is the daughter of Chris and Mark Kubick. She will graduate from Bearden High School, where she played as a defender for the varsity soccer team. In her senior year, Kubick helped her team claim a 17-5-1 record and make it to the state tournament quarter finals.
"I can't wait to start my college soccer career at UC," said Kubick. "I want to make a difference in everything I do."
Patriot Head Women's Soccer Coach Russell Stewart states, "She is an excellent defensive player who is very versatile. She works extremely hard and always looks to set the example."
