The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Men's Soccer program continues its pursuit of a Mid-South Conference Championship with the recent signing of Logan Smith, who hails from Danville, KY.

Smith will be a graduate of Boyle County High School this May, where he played midfield for the Rebels.  In addition to being named varsity captain, Logan was named to the Central Kentucky All Conference team and claimed nine goals and eight assists in his senior year.

"I am very excited to be a Patriot this fall. I look forward to working with Coach Benware and the team, becoming a better player, and contributing in any way I can," said Smith about signing with the Patriots.

"We've acquired another great, all-around pick-up in Logan Smith," said Patriots Head Men's Soccer Coach Brenton Benware.  "Logan is a very good player that I'm confident will develop into an excellent contributor to our program.  He's also committed to success in the classroom and he's just one of those guys that is fun to have around.  Logan is a perfect fit for our UC men's soccer program."
