The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Archery program is pleased to announce the signing of Hannah Blevins to their 2012-2013 roster; the first ever Archery roster for the Patriots. 

Blevins the daughter of Ken and Sheila Blevins of Eubank, Kentucky. Currently, she attends Pulaski County High School.  Hannah earned the title of the Southeastern Women's Bowhunter of the Year last year.

Blevins said, "The University of the Cumberlands is an awesome school!  It's a place where I can see myself fitting in very well.  I am excited to be a member of the first ever archery team at UC."

Head Coach Kris Strebeck commented, "Hannah has been very successful in her high school career.  She has also shot outside of school which will transfer over to our program here well."

The archery team at UC will begin competition in the fall of 2012 as they will compete in the US Intercollegiate Archery Championships at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio on October 19th-21st.
